He received numerous national and international awards, such as First Prize at the End of the Century Competition of ICI, Bs As-Madrid.
The Fine Work Award (1982)
and the Excellence Prize (1985) Humor Contest The Yomiuri Shimbun, Tokyo.
He also won awards in Cuba and at the Universita de Lleida, Catalonia, Spain, in 2007.

He has created about 60 characters and series such as
The baby blue highlights, Postcards, Fine Arts; Barrios of Buenos Aires, Gaspar, and Lukas
Miguel Rep participated in the Festival of Annecy, France (2000) with its short animation on children’s rights and his drawings at the Festival of Amadora, Portugal (2004) ad Angoulemme, France (2008).
During November 2005, gave a workshop on the Art of Humor in Lit House, Madrid, Spain.
By the same date, Random House Mondadori published his book Fine Arts in Spain.
In May 2006, presented in Montevideo, at the Cultural Center of Spain, the Fine Arts shows. He was invited to the Book Fair of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Havana and Caracas to make Murals.
In 2006 publishes Don Quijote de la Mancha, a book with 260 illustrations of Cervantes’s work ( Edit. Castalia, Spain, 2010). In 2007 he illustrated the volume of the collection To beginners dedicated to Julio Cortazar, Jorge Luis Borges, Jack Kerouac, Bukowski y Antonio Gramsci.
Held at the Memorial Museum of La Plata Rep Recalls his sample, presented his work on Don Quijote in the Culture House of Esteban Echeverría and his mural on the Union River Plate in Uruguay and Argentina at the Summit of Heads of State in Uruguay at the UN headquarters in Montevideo.
In March this year was definitely set in his Mural on the 30 years of the dictatorship in the Residence of the Embassy of Argentina in Madrid.
In september 2007 was designated Personality the culture of Buenos Aires, by the Legislature of the city

Mural on the world of art for The Malba Art in Buenos
Aires.
Mural Symphonic Confusion, together with the artists Luis Felipe Noe, Leon Ferrari and Adolfo Nigro for ARTS BA 2008.
Mural on the water on the International Exhibition EXPO Zaragoza, Spain,
Mural South of the south at the Jacobo Borges Museum in Caracas Venezuela.

Rep published daily in the morning Página/12, from the first issue. Also weekly in the magazine Veintitres and monthly in the magazine Fierro. In 2007 he collaborated with the newspaper El País in Spain.
